Bertil Lindahl, MD, Ph.D. is a professor of Cardiology, at Uppsala University since 2009 and a Senior Consultant, in the Department of Cardiology, University Hospital, Uppsala, since 2000. He was deputy director for Uppsala Clinical Research Center 020101-080630; acting director 050115-050615 and 050817-051215; and director 080701 -120930.
Bertil Lindahl is the author of more than 290 peer-reviewed original articles and more than 95 review articles, editorials, and book chapters. His research has focused on different aspects of acute coronary syndromes and especially on biochemical markers. He has performed observational studies as well as clinical trials and quality registry studies. He has been/is the main supervisor for 8 Ph.D. students and co-supervisor for another 16.
Bertil Lindahl has been a member of the Universal Definition of Myocardial Infarction task force and is a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, a member of the Association for Acute Cardiovascular Care, and the Swedish Society of Cardiology.
