CSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting 2021 Update

It is with regret that we announce that the CSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting 2021 and ANZET Meeting 2021 will move to being fully virtual.  The time zone of the Meeting will be AEST

Our commitment has consistently been for safe and successful in-person Meetings in August and ensuring all participants can plan with confidence. The other factor we all have faced is a level of uncertainty, which has increased day by day in the last two weeks. Due to the current environment, with ongoing circulating virus, restrictions in place, and sponsor concerns, the Scientific Steering Committee in conjunction with the CSANZ Board have determined that the risks associated with hosting face to face Meetings in Adelaide cannot be justified.

This has been a very difficult decision; we know that many  were keen for the opportunity to interact in person and will be disappointed.

However, the scientific quality of the Meetings is something we can be justly proud of and the Scientific Program Committee are finalising some refinements to enhance the fully virtual experience. This may include changes to the program including slight reduction in overall screen time while maintaining as much of the program as possible.

If you have registered you will soon receive details from The Conference Company about transferring your registration to a virtual one, refund information, and cancellation of accommodation arrangements. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please contact csanzet@theconferencecompany.com.
