If you are participating as an abstract presenter at the CSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), please read through the information below. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact csanzet@theconferencecompany.com.
All presenting authors (oral, mini oral, and poster) need to complete their registration for the Meeting by 19 June 2026.
So we can include your details on the Meeting App and have your abstract published, please register no later than 19 June 2026. After this date, your presentation may be removed from the program.
If you wish to withdraw your abstract, please advise us as soon as possible so that the program can be adjusted accordingly.
Your oral presentation is comprised of a presentation followed by questions and answers.
Please refer to your confirmation email for the duration of the presentation. If your presentation is 15 minutes long, it will consist of a 10-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q+A. If your presentation is 10 minutes long it will consist of an 8-minute long presentation followed by a 2-minute Q+A.
Slide setup
Please save your slide setup in 16:9 ratio (widescreen) to fit the projection being used.
Click here to download the Disclosure Slide template. Kindly select and include one of the provided disclosure slides (either indicating conflicts of interest or no conflicts) at the beginning of your presentations.
At the venue
Each session room is equipped with standard presentation technology, and you will have the choice of a lectern microphone or handheld microphone. The venue is also set up for Mac users but please notify us if you need to present via MacBook.
Please load your presentation at the Speaker's Preparation Room at least 2 hours before your presentation. We recommend bringing two copies of your presentation on two separate USB sticks.
Please follow the above oral presentation guidelines. Chairpersons will maintain the timing for each presentation. To assist us, please note the following:
1. Please load your presentation in the theatrette you are presenting in during the morning/afternoon tea break immediately before the session. Your mini oral theatrette has been sent to you in an email with your presentation details.
2. Please be in the correct theatrette at the start of the mini-oral session you are presenting. The Conference Company team member will assist you from there.
3. Click here to download a PowerPoint template for your mini-oral presentation, where a maximum of 4 slides is permissible (including the title/disclosure slide). All information must appear on each slide, sequential builds are not to be used.
4. Three minutes have been allocated for your presentation. There will be a countdown clock on the screen, and the screen will switch off at 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
5. At 3 minutes, you will have the opportunity to answer a few questions.
6. At 5 minutes, the next presentation will appear on the screen, and the chairperson will thank you and introduce the next speaker.
