Allied Health: Nutrition Roundtable

Do you have burning questions about nutrition for cardiovascular health? Are you interested in hearing experts present on the latest topics in nutrition research?

Come along to the CSANZ Nutrition Roundtable meeting on Thursday 6th August at the ICC in Sydney.

This year we’ve taken on feedback from last year’s attendees on which topics are important to their clinical practice and research.

We will be joined by:

  • Laureate Professor Clare Collins from the University of Newcastle – “Can we afford NOT to eat a heart-healthy diet?”
  • Dr Juliet Bennett from the University of Sydney – “An Interdisciplinary Study of Ultra-Processed Foods and Prospective Policy Solutions.”
  • Dr Katrina Kissock from The George Institute for Global Health – “Potassium-enriched salt for cardiovascular prevention”
  • Dr Sarah Gauci from Deakin University – “Food and Mood: How What We Eat Shapes Mental Health”
  • Agnivo Sengupta from The George Institute for Global Health - "Healthy for people, better for the planet: can food labels guide consumers towards healthier and more sustainable diets?"

You’ll hear a short presentation from each of our experts, then have ample opportunity to join the Q&A panel.
