A Prize will be awarded to the best individual presentation by a CSANZ young investigator in each themed prize session at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
The themed prizes are as follows:
Abstracts can be submitted for one or more of the Prizes however, the work may only be presented in one prize final session.
Prizes are targeted to young investigators. Please read the eligibility criteria for each of the prize categories and ensure you comply before submitting your abstract for consideration for a prize.
Applicants for all prizes must be CSANZ members or have submitted an application for membership by the abstract submission deadline.
Any abstract accepted as a poster that meets the eligibility criteria will be considered for a New Investigator Poster Prize (an application is not required). Please click here to read the New Investigator Poster Prize guidelines.
All abstracts submitted for the CSANZ ASM Prizes must be accompanied by a detailed letter of support from the Supervisor or Director of the laboratory or clinical service from which the work has emanated. The letter must contain the following information:
The letter of support must be submitted to the CSANZ Secretariat info@csanz.edu.au no later than 15 March 2021. Failure to provide the letter from the Supervisor will result in the paper being withdrawn from consideration for the Prize session.
